18 Weeks!!!

Little Wyatt is the size of sweet potato now!                                                   "Your baby has become amazingly mobile passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking and swallowing!"

It amazes me that we are just 2 weeks away from the half way mark!  This pregnancy truly is flying by!  Over the past 2 weeks I have had several "oh my gosh we are having a baby" moments!  When this happens I am just taken over by such an overwhelming emotion of love.  I am so excited and feel so blessed to have a healthy baby boy growing inside of me. I am feeling Wyatt move a lot more each day.  He seems to be pretty active already!  We received the results from the last round of testing and he is 100% healthy!

Wyatt's crib was delivered yesterday.  I can't wait until Chris puts it together!  The other pieces will be shipped out next week.  We also purchased a "mommy-car" yesterday!  I was definitely ready to say good-bye to the bug!  We now have a silver Trailblazer which I love!

It just amazes me how already we are getting things taken care of to prepare for little Wyatt. Setting up the nursery, getting a bigger car, arranging insurance, and I could go on and on.  We talk about things in the future and it is already natural to include Wyatt in those plans.  I feel so fortunate and blessed to have the life that I do.  My family and friends are amazing and there is no way I could ask for a better husband.  I don't know if it is pregnancy hormones or just the fact that I have looked forward to this life-changing event since I was a young girl, but I have turned into even more of a sap then usual!  Walking up from checking the mail the other day I was just looking at our house and the horses in the pasture and I just started crying because I am so happy.  I am 26 years old, have a husband who loves me more then anything, a perfect home, and a healthy little boy on the way.  I thank God daily for all my blessings.

It's a BOY!!!!

Happy birthday Daddy! Today on Chris' birthday we found out that our little peanut is a boy! Nana, Omee, and Papa Larry went with us to find out the good news. We were thrilled! Chris couldn't quit grinning. He said it was the best birthday gift ever. So our son's name is Wyatt Christopher Barthle! It is such an amazing feeling knowing that our baby has a name and their own identity. Chris' Meemaw was very excited to have a great-grandson that will carry on the family name.

When we came out from our appointment we found this on our truck.  My mom is the best!

Tomorrow is the big day.....

Hard to believe that we are 16 weeks into this amazing journey!   I can't believe that tomorrow we will finally know if you are a little boy or a little girl.  The time is flying by.  As mentioned in a previous post, we were given a "I think it's a boy" at our last ultra-sound.  Daddy sure is hoping that lady was right!  About a week or so ago Chris came in from out front and asked if I had dropped a pencil in the driveway.  I thought this was a dumb question since I park in the garage.  He held up the pencil and I noticed it was blue....I told him I didn't recognize it.  He brought it closer and I was able to read it.....it was a blue pencil that stated "It's a boy!" on it!  We have NO CLUE where it came from!  Hmm.....wonder if it is a sign from God??? :o)

Can't wait to post an update tomorrow.  Our little peanut is moving around like crazy lately.  I love it!
