So I feel like I have already learned so many things that I never realized happened so early in pregnancy in the short 9 weeks that I have been pregnant! I have had several of my friends ask me what is something that is going on with my body that I didn't expect. So I decided to start an ugly truth post that I will continue throughout my pregnancy. Just a warning that it may contain some very personal, TMI information. So basically if if you can't handle talking about certain body parts, body secretions, fecal matter, or anything of that nature you may want to skip over this post! Just sayin! :)
* Boobs: HOLY BOOBAGE! So I knew that your breats obviously grow in pregnancy, I just didn't realize that it happens pretty early in the pregnancy. BP (before pregnancy) I was a good size C-cup. I just told Chris this week that I already need new bras! They have gotten too small! I'm really scared to see what they look like after I have the little peanut and my milk comes in.........
* Baby Bump- here today.....gone tomorrow. So I wake up one morning and think wow....I think I already might see a little bump. Then by the end of the day, it's gone. Gotta love bloating! At least I no longer have a reason to have to suck in my stomach!
* Food- So I am pretty much hungry all the time. I can't eat a lot at one time, but I want to eat every 45 minutes or so! I was nervous when I went and got blood work done to see if I had gained any weight.....Nope....in fact I lost 2 lbs! This just gives me an excuse to eat more. :o)
* I have learned that most women become pretty familiar with that ugly C word that makes us feel horrible.....CONSTIPATION! I think I jinxed my self at my appointment on the 4th because my OB asked me if I had experienced this at all. My reply was no way....I'm a pretty regular gal when it comes to that. 2 days later I was miserable! Thankfully I have only experienced this 2 times, althought from what I have read I should expect it to happen a lot more often.
* Morning sickness- Thankfully I seemed to have gotten the same trait that my mom and sister had so I'm missing out on the morning sickness. THANK GOODNESS! I had a few queasy moments early on, but they weren't anything to bad and have since past.
Good news is when you have all the "ugly" symptoms, it means the pregnancy is progressing well! i was obsessed with a baby bump from the minute i took the pregnancy test lol!
