So we kept going back and forth on when we wanted to tell our families and friends. We understand that a lot of people wait until after the first trimester to make sure everything is okay with the baby. That must be a tortuous 3 months to keep a secret! I have only known for a little over a week and I’m going nuts! We finally came to the conclusion that we are very close to our families and even if something were to go wrong, we would tell them about it. On that note we decided why wait? We would rather tell them and get their true 100% excited reaction verses telling them after something went wrong and missing out on that.
We are telling my parents tonight and Chris’ tomorrow. I got a frame for my mom that holds 3 pictures. In the first 2 spots I put pictures of Noah & Tyler (my nephews). In the third spot I put a note that said, “Coming November 19th!” Can’t wait to give it to her.
Tomorrow is Mama Lynn’s (mother-in-law) birthday. One of her gifts is a frame that I made that says, “I love my Omee” and it has the same note in it. (Her grandmother name is Omee). So can’t wait to post about their reactions!
