Hello Baby Wyatt!

The past few days Wyatt has really been reminding Mommy that he is in there.  I keep telling Daddy that I don't think he has anymore room to get any bigger!  Well driving down the road today it felt like he was trying to push himself out right beside my belly button.  When I put my hand there I could feel an outline of a foot through my shirt!  Pulled up my shirt and I could even see it!!!!  It was the most amazing and strange thing that I have ever experienced it.

Chris and I spend time every evening laying bed just watching my belly.  He is all over the place.  I will admit we have tortured him with a flashlight and an ice cube to see how he would react a time or too! :o)  It is such an amazing sight to see my belly bulging out on one side and so flat on the other.  We love being able to tell where he is at inside of me.  I know that I am going to miss this feeling once he is born.  There really aren't words to describe it......

I'm so in love.

Back to work= HELLO SWOLLEN ANKLES!

Well I made it through my first week back to work!  Boy am I wiped out!  My poor ankles have started to swell. I made it through Thursday before they did though.  It's been awhile since I posted so here is an update:

- Finally heard from the perinatal office and our appointment is scheduled for September 1st.

- Had my glucose screening done.  The drink was surprisingly not that bad.  Tasted like uncarbonated Sprite with a TON of sugar and maybe a little thicker.  My numbers were border line, and since he is such a big baby they decided to have me do the 3 hour test.  So last Friday I spent the first 3 hours in the morning at the lab getting my blood drawn every hour.  Thankfully I passed!  No gestational diabetes!  Yay!

- Next appointment is also on Setember 1st and we switch to having appointments every 2 weeks!  CRAZY how fast it is going!

We are in the 3rd trimester now!!!!  Baby showers are being planned, maternity photos are scheduled, working on getting things ready for my leave from work.  It's nuts!!!!  So exciting!
