So excited.......

I felt my little peanut move for the first time!!!!  Chris and I were laying in bed last night watching tv and out of nowhere I felt a strong little flutter.  I freaked out.  It happened again a few minutes later!!!!  So amazing!!!!!!!

Week 13- Getting ready to say good-bye to the first tri-mester!

Your Baby: Week 13

Your baby is forming teeth and vocal cords... savor this, their non-functional phase. Baby is approaching normal proportions, with a head now only one third the size of the body. Intestines are in the process of moving from the umbilical cord to baby's tummy. (Much more convenient.) Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips,  veins and organs are clearly visible through his/her still-thin skin, and the body is starting to catch up with the head — which makes up just a third of the body size now.

12 week appointment

Just got home from our 12 week check-up and it went GREAT!!  They did an ultrasound so that they could do the genetics screening and the doctor was extremely pleased with what he saw.  We won't get the official results back for a few days, but he said he felt comfortable telling us that we were fine.  Such a relief!  Boy did our little peanut like showing off for the camera!!!  He/She was constantly moving, kicking, waving, etc.  It was awesome!!!  They have the cutest little nose.  We got a CD with all the pictures which is pretty neat.  The tech was trying so hard to determine the sex (even though it is pretty early for that).  She said she thinks it is a boy, because there was definitely something there.  But she didn't feel strong enought to officially say boy because girls can sometimes be pretty swollen.  Needless to say Chris had a big grin on his face just hearing a "maybe boy"! 

We go back on Chris' birthday- June 6th to officially find out if we have a precious baby girl or boy.  I can't wait!!!!  Here are a few of the pics from today.
